MARCH 13: Celebrating the day if restoration of independence of Lithuania in Tel Aviv
On March 13th the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the State of Israel entertained a celebration event for the Day of Restoration of Independence of Lithuania in the Asia Auditorium of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
Ambassador Edminas Bagdonas greeted the quests of the event before the Girls choir "Liepaitės" of Vilnius choir singing school presented the unique concert. The girls sang in Lithuanian, Hebrew, and English, and performed alongside classic piano music. The choir has been awarded with more than 10 prestigious international awards and has performed in more than 12 countries.
28-30 January 2019: Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and business delegation official visit in Israel
Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis accompanied by Minister of Economy and Innovation Virginijus Sinkevičius and the business delegation has visited Israel.
The delegation has met the President of Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During the visit, Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed the agreement to increase cooperation on cyberdefense.
During the afternoon of the 28th of January a business forum was held, welcoming more than 20 of Lithuania’s business. During the forum an MOU was signed between the countries for cooperation in the Cyber security space. It was signed between Edminas Kerza, Vice minister of National Defence, and Yigal Unna, Director General Israel National Cyber Directorate.
The day after the Cybertech event the tour meeting Cyber companies was led by Mr. Rami Efrati.

ILTH hub is proud to partner with Enterprise Lithuania at Baltic Miltech Summit in Vilnius. Israeli representative Rami Efrati a Founder and President at Firmitas Cyber Solutions was one of the keynote speakers at the event.
Cyber technology expert Rami Efrati, who served for nearly thirty years in the Israeli Defense Forces, says the world is already living in a cyber-war era. MMATECH and Ortho-Baltic successful cooperation
We are happy to share the news about MMATECH and Ortho-Baltic successful cooperation. MMATECH mission is to improve life quality - enable surgeries in younger patients and reduce suffering using an advanced bio-compatible polymer as a safer solution.
For the last 5 years, MMATECH Ltd. was fruitfully working with Ortho-Baltic on the several joint projects (developing technological solutions for transition from singular custom-made implants production, to mass-customization in personalized medical treatment).
Alisa Buchman, CTO at MMATECH Ltd, was one of the speakers in the Life Science Baltics 2018 conference in Vilnius. She specializes in aging of polymers, adhesive characterization and formulation, novel surface treatment, failure analysis and micro/nano-bonding.
Exai expansion in Vilnius
Exai, Israeli company that specializes in content management technology (CMT) and AI, has announced opening a software development branch in Vilnius. According to Exai’s CEO, the company is expanding internationally after applying for a grant of 3 million euros from the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy. Read full article here.
Israeli cloud services integrator TeraSky chooses Vilnius for it`s European base
Another Israel company is joining the ecosystem in Lithuania. TeraSky, a leading Israeli cloud solutions integrator, has just announced the opening of its European branch in Vilnius, Lithuania. The company, whose customer base includes global enterprise leaders in high-technology, finance, defence, cyber, telco and other areas, plans to hire several dozen local specialists. The Vilnius office will be responsible for software development, professional services and regional support.
