The Israel Lithuania Technology Hub (The “Hub) is delighted to have been instrumental in paving the way for the cooperation MOU signed on 17 May at the Mixiii-BioMed Conference and Exhibition in Tel Aviv, between Enterprise Lithuania and IATI (Israel Advanced Technology Industries).
Since the launch of the Hub, which is a part of the ISRAEL LITHUANIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY, in 2014, it has endeavoured to promote and encourage cooperation, joint ventures, exchange of information and knowledge, technology transfer and investment especially for startup companies in the field of life sciences and technology. The Hub Team has spared no effort in bringing Lithuanian and Israeli companies together and has a few success stories to boast. The Team members have participated and spoken at numerous conferences in both countries including playing an instrumental role in all the Life Sciences Baltics (LSB) Conferences and exhibitions, since its inception in 2012 (even prior to the formal launch of the Hub), by way of finding and bringing over key Israeli scientists and entrepreneurs to participate and lecture at the Conferences. Our Director of Life Science, Mr. Zeev Zelig, was in fact the Visionary, and subsequently a partner founder of LSB and continues to advise the organizers as to content.
The signing of the MOU is yet another significant step in promoting and advancing the cause for the benefit of both Israel and Lithuania!
