“Vilnius – Ra’anana Partnership in Innovation”, at the June Tech Conference in Raanana

Lithuanian business delegation participated at the Ra'anana Tech Conference. Lithuanian Panel session “Vilnius – Ra’anana Partnership in Innovation”, took place as a part of the conference, followed by a number of meetings with Israeli high-tech companies working in IT (including NICE Ltd.), cyber security company Cyberbit and business accelerator Lighthouse. The Panel discussion addressed the present and future collaboration between Israeli and Lithuanian technology companies, respective advantages in each market and the synergies.

The event was jointly organized by the ILTH and the Municipality of the town of Ra’anana. The conference was opened by the mayor of Ra'anana, Mr. Zeev Bielski, who welcomed the participants and noted positively the impressive growth of high-tech industry in Israel. Lithuanian Ambassador to Israel, H.E. Edmundas Bagdonas delivered opening remarks, which praised the cooperation relations with Israel and Lithuania.

The startup exchange program between Vilnius Tech Park in Vilnius and Hubanana tech hub was signed, also includes measures for connecting the Israeli and Lithuanian startup ecosystems.

We take this opportunity to introduce Dr. Aleksandras Abisala, a newly appointed member of the ILTH Advisory Board. Mr. Abisala is a former Prime Minister of Lithuania and the founding partner of A. Abisala & Partners Consulting a leading business consulting company in Lithuania.
